Horse Shows and Clinics:
As many of our riders participate in horse shows on a regular basis, we have established a full schedule of local and regional shows. Additionally, we hold clinics at our equestrian center several times throughout the year aimed at advancing our rider's skills and knowledge base.
We offer a complete show schedule for riders at every level of showing from "AA" rated shows to local schooling shows. Our riders have competed at multi-day "AA" shows such as Garden State Horse Show, the Hampton Classic and HITS. Wood Hollow riders are successfully competing in Marshall & Sterling divisions, Long Island High Score Award Association divisions, and other local series. We frequently attend local schooling shows to introduce our novice show riders to the benefits of competition
Wood Hollow Equestrian Center is registered with the United States Equestrian Federation to manage recognized horse shows. We successfully managed the 2005 Smithtown Hunt Horse Show held on the campus grounds of SUNY Old Westbury. We plan to continue to manage or staff horse shows yearly.
