The Teaching Barn

Welcome to Wood Hollow Equestrian Center (WHEC), a newly renovated equestrian facility located in Greenlawn, New York on beautiful Long Island. Our mission is to provide a relaxed atmosphere that permits our riders to receive individualized attention that includes both mounted and unmounted training.

Lessons & Training: English hunter/jumper and centered riding lessons are available for all levels of riders.

Boarding: Our full care boarding operation includes quality stable care, two feedings per day, free choice hay, turn-out and blanketing services.

Summer Camp: Our 8-week summer day camp provides a unique experience for equestrians ages 7-15 to gain hands-on experience with horses in a small and individualized setting.

Horses For Sale/Lease: We offer a variety of trained and shown horses for sale at all price ranges.

Some of our beautiful amenities include:

Completely renovated barns with stalls for 26 horses all matted and equipped with new stable accessories.

Lighted 140 x 220 Main Riding Arena with complete set of jumps and built-in sprinkler system.

100 x 150 hunt course for riding, lunging, and cooling out.

Two beginner/intermediate riding arenas with schooling equipment.

Indoor, heated client lodge with viewing of main riding arena; full heated bathroom with shower; deck; and picnic pavillion.
